We hope this message finds you well! We have some exciting updates and important reminders to share with the community.

Crosswalk Installation

We are pleased to announce that TxDOT will be installing a crosswalk with mid-block flashers in front of the school within the school zone. This will allow elementary school students to safely walk to school rather than wait for the bus pickup. Royse City ISD and Creek Shaw will also be connecting the new crosswalk to the existing community sidewalk. This is exciting news for both safety and convenience in our neighborhood!

Back-to-School Tips & Reminders

With school back in session, please remember to:
• Drive slowly and cautiously in school zones and throughout the community.
• Watch for children walking or biking to school.
• Allow extra travel time during morning and afternoon traffic.

Fall Season Reminders

As the fall season begins, please keep the following in mind:
• Keep lawns, flower beds, and trees maintained as leaves begin to fall.
• Be mindful of storing seasonal decorations properly and removing them in a timely manner once the holiday passes.
• Outdoor lighting and timers may need adjusting as days get shorter.
• Please continue to keep trash bins stored out of sight except on pickup days.

Pool Season Closing

The last day of the 2025 pool season will be Sunday, September 14. Thank you all for a great summer at the pool!
